Created as part of “The Lillene Collection,” this print is inspired by my grandmother’s ginger jar collection and my time spent with her growing up.

I can see her now, sitting in her maroon recliner under her reading lamp, newspaper and pencil in hand as she worked away on the day’s puzzle section. Whether it was a jumble of letters with a code to be deciphered or a complex crossword puzzle to be solved, Grandmother would take a crack at it. She was smart. I don’t just mean she excelled in school from a young age or made a good social studies teacher. I mean to say that she was clever, enjoyed a good joke, and was sharp as a tack.

Details: Each print is an archival giclée reproduction printed on high quality, beautifully textured paper here in my studio on a professional fine art printer. Each print is cut by hand and packaged individually in a clear sleeve with backing board to be shipped in a rigid flat mailer (small print) or rolled up in protective tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy tube (large print). Colors are matched as closely as possible to the original, though colors may look different depending on the device you are using to view the images. Each print is an easily framed size, so displaying it is easy!
