Created as part of “The Lillene Collection,” this print is inspired by my grandmother’s ginger jar collection and my time spent with her growing up.

If there was one thing you could count on being in the fridge at my grandparents’ house, it was my grandmother’s homemade chocolate sauce. You have not tasted vanilla ice cream in its highest form unless you have had the pleasure of eating it with her chocolate sauce. The current batch lived in a small, brown ceramic pitcher that was covered with tin foil, microwaved to perfection before being served hot over a generous helping of Blue Bell’s Homemade Vanilla ice cream. Gooey and sticky, there is no batch I have personally created that has satisfied my memories of Grandmother whipping hers up in no time on the stove.

Details: Each print is an archival giclée reproduction printed on high quality, beautifully textured paper here in my studio on a professional fine art printer. Each print is cut by hand and packaged individually in a clear sleeve with backing board to be shipped in a rigid flat mailer (small print) or rolled up in protective tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy tube (large print). Colors are matched as closely as possible to the original, though colors may look different depending on the device you are using to view the images. Each print is an easily framed size, so displaying it is easy!
