“Remembering This Season” gathers the remains of a night well spent in its motifs and the feeling of friendship in its colors. This is a familiar scene; half-eaten fruit, empty martini glasses, vibrant flowers looking about as happily exhausted as you feel after an evening with friends. This painting is filled with the gratitude of an evening surrounded by loved ones and good conversation.

Each piece in the Sundays Collection is inspired by the intimate gathering of friends and family around tables, whether it’s a holiday or Sunday lunch. We all know the sensation of hosting these events, the tangible warmth of connection, and delicious food and drinks bringing everyone together. We also each know the feeling of hearing the door click shut as the last guest leaves and that sign of relief as you turn to face the task of cleanup. I hope this painting brings you into that moment: full hearted, a favorite record spinning, smoke as you blow out the candles, the clink of dishes in the sink.

Please note that, due to the aspect ratio of standard print sizes, the top and bottom row of the checkerboard border are cropped in all sizes except 30x40, which is the size of the original painting.

Canvas vs Paper: Because of paper size limitations, I am only able to print up to 20x26 on the fine art paper. If you choose canvas, you will be able to order a print up to 30x40.

Details: Each print is an archival giclée reproduction printed to order on high quality, beautifully textured paper or canvas here in my studio on a professional fine art printer. Each print is cut by hand and packaged individually in a clear sleeve with backing board to be shipped in a rigid flat mailer (small print) or rolled up in protective tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy tube (large print).
